About Team Rembrandts

Team Rembrandts is a community based FIRST Robotics Competition team in Eindhoven, the Netherlands. The team started competing in FRC during the 2013 season, since then they have grown rapidly and aim to be true ambassadors of FIRST. The team has 75 active members and is structured like an SME, enabling all of the members to actively explore their interests in different departments within the team.

Within the team, I'm active in the Business and Media department, primarily focusing on Media & Branding. I contribute to the production of new content, coming up with concepts, filming, and editing. In addition, I regularly take part in STEAM promotion events in the region, such as Hotspot Hightech Helmond, the Maker Days, and various events hosted by partner companies.

Ten years in videos

The 10th season of Team Rembrandts was also my first season with the team. I learned a lot about how the team works and got to know many new people who share the same enthusiasm, not just for FRC, but for FIRST as a whole. I wanted to show others what it's like to be part of a team like this and what it means to the people involved.

Everyone has a personal story about why they're part of the team and what it means to them. In many photos and videos, we appear as one big group, but I also felt it was important to highlight the more personal side of the team.

The video series consists of multiple episodes, each focused on a different aspect of the team. The team members featured in the videos came up with their own answers, based on their own experiences.

What I find most important about the video series is that it's accessible to everyone. Even someone who has never heard of Team Rembrandts, FRC, or FIRST can watch the videos and understand what the team is all about.
